A BRIGHT ROOM CALLED DAY:  This design was centered around Agnes' inability to move, act, or leave -- her willingness to be stuck.  The angled, elevated platform without walls created the sense of the apartment existing in a void. We wanted minimal pieces of furniture and set dressing; in the small black box space, the right amount of furniture meant the space could easily go from feeling cozy to claustrophobic.
